TNO LOVE THEMES LP
With much love we present: TNO Love Themes, our very first vinyl release.
A 12" LP with a carefully curated selection of soulful anthems revolving around love, romance, hardship and togetherness. Consisting of mostly soul, gospel and R&B gems from the '60s and '70s, these are songs we love and have lived with.
NUMERO GROUP
For this project we worked closely together with the Numero Group (est. 2003); a relicensing label from Chicago committed to unearthing precious lost sounds for new audiences, an archival record label that takes lost and forgotten music out of unwarranted obscurity.
Being the home to some of hiphop’s most notable samples, Numero Group has had an incredible cultural impact saving obscure music from being lost forever and introducing new audiences to important yet forgotten music. Don’t be surprised if you run into your favourite producer’s samples while cruising through the Numero Group catalogue.
Most known for their Eccentric Soul flagship series, we soon discovered that much of our favourite music was part of their catalogue and we began to draw the lines - resulting in our very own LP; filled with 11 tracks held very close to our heart.
